Vision for the Mission Partnership:
This mission trip to Progreso is just the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting relationship between First Presbyterian Church and Iglesia Presbiteriana Jesús. During our scout trip, we identified several ways our church can support their efforts, particularly their Kids’ Camp. This annual camp serves as a key outreach to the local community, and we will work together to serve in meaningful ways.
In addition to our time in Mexico, we will set up mission partner teams that will meet throughout the year to pray for one another, share updates, and discern how best to support one another's ministries. Some of our training sessions will involve online meetings with members from Iglesia Presbiteriana Jesús!
This mission trip is more than just a visit; it’s the start of a long-term partnership in mission that we pray will lead to many years of service and mutual encouragement.
